How long will my etching last?
Polish your mirror as much as you want. Your etching will never fade or wear off. We will replace any etching that fails to live up to this guarantee.
Contact us any time to replace a defective glass. Note: this lifetime guarantee does not apply to broken glass except within the first 10 days after shipment as below.
Will my mirror reflect like a normal mirror?
Your mirror will sparkle as brightly as any mirror you've ever seen. Our pictures show them reflecting a plain gray background to give you the clearest possible view of the design.
But hang your mirror on your wall and whatever is gray in the pictures will reflect whatever background surrounding it, just like any other mirror. However the lighter colored areas in the pictures are etched and do not reflect.
What materials do we use for the frames?
Our frames are crafted in the USA with the highest quality materials. The top-quality 100% solid hardwoods you find in fine, hand-crafted furniture are what we use for our mirror frames and clocks. No “reconstituted wood products” (sawdust and glue with a laminate, paint, or decal finish)
Are the frames sturdy?
Test them yourself. You won't find a loose joint in anything you receive from us.

We have made exclusive arrangements with a number of talented artists to etch the artworks you see on our site.
Big name artist or up-and-comers, all of them bring a touch of personality and flair to their work. This adds a special flair and personality to your home.
How do we make such detailed etchings?
Grinding deeply into the surface of the glass erases any possibility of fine details and leaves a rough surface where it's been etched.
But run your finger over the etching you receive from us. You'll find the etching so delicate that the etched surface feels almost as smooth as polished glass.
That delicate etch is what gives you such detail.
Your delicate etching is permanent. Clean it, polish it as much as you like. We guarantee you will never get it to fade or wear away.

Do we do these etchings by hand or by machine?
A special accent for your home should be more than just something spit out of a machine and to us, it is.
Skilled craftsmen etch each piece individually; no etching is done by machine. Yet every etching of the artwork you choose is identical. Your etching will look exactly like what you see on the website.
Etching each piece individually means that human eyes inspect your etching at least five times throughout the process of etching, assembly, and shipping. That ensures that you receive only the finest accent piece.
How is the wood finished?
Feel the silky smoothness of its hand-rubbed, double lacquer finish as you rub your hand across each frame or clock. You'll enjoy the same feel of permanence and quality you would get from fine furniture bought from the biggest name furniture manufacturers.
How reliable are our clocks at keeping time?
Know that our quartz-movement clocks are reliable and will keep you on-time . These movements run on two AA batteries (not included). We guarantee them unconditionally for one full year.
How sturdy are the hangers we use on our coat racks?
Hang the heaviest of coats on the sturdy brass and porcelain coat hooks of your coat rack. Or just display them so you can enjoy the elegance of their antique brass finish and porcelain tips.
Do I need to assemble anything when my order arrives?
No. What you receive from us is fully assembled. No complicated instructions, no wobbly joints, and no puzzle assembly hoping your finished effort looks like what you ordered.
Just remove your order from its shipping box and place it wherever it will make the most impact in your home.
What will you do if my order is damaged in shipping?
Contact us to let us know. We'll ship a replacement for the damaged item right away at no further charge.
How often do items arrive damaged?
The possibility that your order will arrive damaged is very small. For more than a decade we've shipped glass and mirrors with the UPS. This experience helps ensure that our packaging can protect your purchase from their normal handling process.
Unfortunately, damage sometimes happens despite our best efforts. If your order is one of the very few that arrives damaged, we'll replace it right away at no further charge.
